Does stretching for Taekwondo, or stretching for martial arts, make you kick any higher?

Well the quick answer is yes and no.

Stretching can help increase flexibility, which in turn can help you perform kicks with a greater range of motion and this can lead to the ability to kick higher.

Stretching alone will not necessarily make you kick higher. You need a combination of stretching, strength training and drilling the technique (practice) to improve your kicks.

And I would put practice at the top of the list!
